Requirements

To start tracing your family ancestry you would need to supply me with some accurate information. A good starting point for example would be details from a birth, marriage or death certificate of someone in the ancestral line you wish researched.

From this information I would expect to be able to trace back at least 3 or 4 generations to between 1800 – 1855 and hopefully, beyond 1800 depending on the quality and comprehensiveness of the Old Parish Registers in the area your ancestors lived.

Once all the research has been completed the findings would then be used to prepare an attractively printed A4 size report for each generation showing all the information found.

For each generation you will be presented with the following information:

  • the name of your ancestor,
  • the date and place of their birth,
  • the date and place of their death,
  • the name of their spouse,
  • the date and place of their marriage,
  • the names of any children and their date and place of birth.

Other information, for example, their occupations, where they were lived at the time of a birth, marriage or death will be presented as a narrative paragraph beneath the relevant section of the report.
